Goals

The Consortium brings together municipalities, counties, states and public-sector agencies to advance the cause of gun safety using their combined purchasing power, expertise and research.

Our initial focus is to encourage the development of technologies and products that will help gun owners secure their firearms, as well as products that can help law enforcement investigate and prevent gun-related crimes.

A future priority will be to assemble, analyze and make full use of our jurisdictions’ data on recovered crime guns.
